Where Are We Going?

So much strength and truth from the Kennedy's.
If they were only here now. I can't remember in my lifetime a time period like the U.S. is going through now. So much has been lost by our own transgressions. I find no one to believe in and only hope that someone on a white horse will appear. The congress and so called leaders can't look beyond themselves and regulate the country in it's own best interest. What a poor selection of individuals to have one become our commander in chief. Thanks to you I'm having a glass of Yukon Jack.......

Comment on The Silly Season

Best wishes on your blog!

Comment on In The Land Of The Great Decider

Love them cowboys

A Cowboy from Texas attends a function where George W is trying to gather more support for his administration.

Once he discovers the cowboy is a Democrat, he starts to belittle him
by talking in a southern drawl and single syllable words.

As he was doing that, he kept swatting at some flies that were buzzing
around his head. The cowboy says, "Y'all havin' some problem with them
circle flies?"

He stopped talking and said, "Well yes, if that's what they 're called.
But I've never heard of circle flies."

"Well sir," the cowboy replies, "circle flies hang around ranches.
They're called circle flies because they're almost always found circling
around the back end of a horse."

"Oh," George replies as he goes back to rambling.

But, a moment later he stops and bluntly asks, "Are you calling me a horse's ass?"

"No, sir," the cowboy replies, "I have too much respect for our fighting men to call their Commander-in-Chief a horse's ass."

"That's a good thing," W responds and begins rambling on once more.

After a long pause, the cowboy, in his best Texas drawl says,
"Hard to fool them flies though."

Comment on In The Land Of The Great Decider

I've already compromised as much as I intend just by reading you're blog.
